Available in three trims of LT, LS, and Premier, the 2020 Suburban features a 5.3-liter V8 engine along with a six-speed transmission. This combination enables the 2020 Suburban to pack in an impressive 383 lb-ft of torque and 355 horsepower. The Premier trim can be optionally fitted with a 6.2-liter V8 engine that can provide 60 lb-ft of torque and 420 horsepower. In terms of fuel efficiency, the 2020 Suburban clocks 15 mpg and 22 mpg in the city and on the highway, respectively, with a combined fuel efficiency of 18 mpg.

Enhanced safety
The 2020 Suburban, like most contemporary vehicles, is equipped with multiple airbags and other safety features, such as Daytime Running Lamps, a Teen Driver mode, a rear vision camera, antilock disc brakes, and tire pressure monitoring. The base trim has Rear Park Assist that makes it easy to navigate the large Suburban in reverse.
